Chairman Netburn explained that many young people in the United States are exposed to drugs through various channels,
such as friends, family members, or the streets, after experiencing trauma in childhood,
ncluding domestic violence or witnessing crimes.
He continued, “What is important in prevention is creativity.”
He emphasized that the most important thing is to use media that young people can access more easily and
to deliver a consistent message about drug use through schools, homes, religious institutions,
and other community spaces.

Last year, a survey found that the age at which teenagers in Seoul first encountered gambling had dropped
as low as the fifth grade of elementary school.
Cases of witnessing gambling among friends also increased significantly within just one year,
showing that the problem of youth gambling has reached a serious level.
